so i’m engaged

It's funny the things that go around about people sometimes... its even funnier to me the things people talk about... especially when they have no idea. I've had a few rumors spread about me in my time... the one I heard today definitely took the cake. It's by far my favorite... mostly because it's pretty funny.

So my good friend and also my partner in music business... well more like one of the people I definitely look up to e-mailed me the other day and told me he wanted to talk to me to clear up some rumors he heard.

I called him today just to find out what in the world people are bored enough to talk about now.

He said he overheard my name out at a show and tuned into the conversation. Apparently someone casually mentioned something about reading one of my blogs or something... and then someone said... HEY did you hear Julie was dating a black rapper? then the other person said. "no! I heard she was ENGAGED to a black rapper!"

Apparently these people are not friends of mine... they woulda known. I know who they are talking about... and I went to a wedding with a very talented black beat boxer one time... I didn't realize we were committed from that. DJ! Did you ask my dad permission?! :)
HAHA!

2 things.

1) My boyfriend is white... but he totally is HCWB... don't even worry about it.
2) I'm not engaged.
